Marsland-Chassis produce Series III Land Rover chassis using only top quality British steel from the best suppliers, the material is supplied as custom sized blank sheets designed to optimise the production process.

Cutting patterns from the Design Computers in the Drawing Office are down loaded to the AMADA Computer Controlled Multi-Turret Punch Press.


The blank sheets are clamped into position and the Punch Press automatically cuts the required holes, slots and tabs for the individual components needed for chassis manufacture. Folding of the pre-cut 'Flat Blanks' into sub assembly parts is accomplished using the CNC Press Brake.

The resulting 'Folded Blanks' are then transferred to the Welding Shop for fabrication into the chassis sub components ready for final assembly on the chassis production line.

On the final assembly line all the previously fabricated components are located and welded using the three main chassis jigs to ensure accuracy of alignment.


All chassis are hand finished to a high standard and given a stringent multi-point quality control check before finally being allocated its own unique number.

The bare metal fabricated and checked chassis are then stacked in the appropriate rack units awaiting dispatch to the finishing plant.


Marsland Chassis are supplied in either black painted or galvanised versions depending upon customer preference.


			On their return from the finishing plant the new chassis have all the spring bushes fitted and are given a final quality check before being put into stock awaiting their final allocation to the customer.


UK deliveries are normally undertaken by the company's own fleet of vehicles which are in constant contact with the dispatch department, allowing accurate and flexible scheduling of deliveries nationwide.
